DETAILS: We had a successful celebration of the 55th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act! This year's event focused on fair housing and social determinants of health and featured remarks from Andre M. Perry, Senior Fellow at Brookings Metro, and Debby Goldberg, Vice President of Housing Policy & Special Projects at National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA). Our theme was Where We Live Matters: Housing, Health, and the Environment.  Our Event Program included 2023 Fair Housing Awards and a poetry performance by local artist Ebony Davis a.k.a. Gemini DaPoet, who is also a Teaching Artist for The Diatribe.
