KEYNOTE LUNCHEON: This year’s luncheon featured a keynote address by renowned fair housing attorney John Relman & a poetry performance by Marcel 'Fable' Price, Grand Rapids Poet Laureate, and member of The Diatribe. Fable is a spoken word artist and author from west Michigan and is entering into his second year of a three-year term as Grand Rapids Poet Laureate. Learn more about his work here!
WORKSHOPS: This year’s conference featured THREE workshop options for attendees to choose from. Workshops covered the following topic areas:
- Challenging Implicit Bias (CE Marketplace certified for 2 Legal, 1 Elective CE credits)
- Fighting for the Future of Fair Housing
- Changing Assumptions about Housing for Seniors (This course is approved by the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative-Approval #030518-00. The Collaborative is the approving body for the Michigan Board of Social Work.)
