Fair Housing Luncheon & Workshop Series
Each year the Fair Housing Center of West Michigan hosts an annual conference in April to celebrate "Fair Housing Month" and highlight important issues of housing opportunity by featuring nationally known speakers with content-rich workshops on a wide variety of fair housing topics, leading into a keynote luncheon presentation. For over 25 years, the Center has presented the luncheon and workshop series, and continues to receive national acclaim and accolades for its forward thinking, effective and systemic approach to fair housing education and outreach. Representatives from private and public housing industries, lenders, government planners, officials and program staff, civil rights and disability rights activists, community development groups and human service agencies address housing related issues and learn about their role in fair housing during the luncheon as well as in one of three different half-day workshops. Please consider joining us at our next event for either a workshop, the luncheon or both, in order to help further fair housing and equal opportunity throughout our community!
